This is more than half way up a mountain and we’re lunching in this chalet at the moment. There’s a man playing his accordion and everything is very lovely. By chance this morning coming out in the train we sat in the same compartment as five girls from Glasgow. One a year ahead of me in GHS [Glasgow High School] who I knew to look at while one comes from Pollokshields and one from Newlands. The Newlands one was in school and was a friend of Super Hen [???] and Jean Martin. She says Jean teaches music, they’ve been on all the excursions and it’s funny we shouldn’t even have seen them until now they haven’t seen us either. Rene goes home on Monday as the hostel can’t keep her til Tuesday. I think there won’t be any more change about what day she goes. I had a pc in German from Auntie Mora this morning I’ll reply in German too.
